Viola Tricarico - ANATOMY OF A BOND

This photographic project originates from a reflection on the evolution of contemporary intimate relationships, exploring what it means to build a deep and authentic connection today. Rather than examining non-monogamy as an exception, the project follows Susan and Sam, a young couple living in Berlin who have consciously chosen to explore their relationship beyond the traditional model of monogamy. During the project, Andrea, Susan's second partner, also became part of the narrative, expanding the reflection on trust, communication, and personal freedom. Presented as a virtual exhibition developed in Unity, the project extends these ideas into an immersive space where the relationship between the house and the surrounding forest becomes a metaphor for the balance between intimacy, openness, and individual autonomy.
